There's something for all the family here, (including the 4 legged members), with over 100 acres on title and some very content cattle agisted by a local farmer. You could continue this arrangement or run your own stock.
The property is also ideal for horses. You can ride out the front gate and straight into the State Forest to live out all your ‘Man from Snowy River’ dreams. In fact, the property was host to cast members of one of those legendary Australian movies. There’s even been some heads of state from various countries come to stay over the years. We think you will have lots of guests yourself when family and friends find out about your remarkable new home.
The two self-contained dwellings have room to accommodate quite a crowd. The main homestead has been thoughtfully renovated and extended in recent years, to offer very comfortable 5 - 6 bedrooms plus another office, 3 bathrooms and a selection of expansive entertaining and living areas. It's a short but picturesque stroll up to the unique hexagonal shaped 2 -3 bedroom cottage nestled behind the large Hazelnut hedge.
We love the mix of lush pasture with spring fed dams for livestock, the natural bush with abundant wildlife and the beautiful groves of mature European trees with park-like lawn and a private lake. It's so peaceful and completely private. There are some lovely neighbours nearby , but none within sight...or earshot!
And perhaps the star of the show here are the panoramic views, including the instantly recognisable peaks of Mt Buller, Mt Stirling and Timbertop, with amazing sunsets over the picturesque valleys to Lake Eildon and beyond.
The photos are beautiful but you really need to visit the property yourself to appreciate everything on offer here.
